Pankaj Koirala is the ED/ Research Fellow (Experiments and Behavior) at the Institute for Frontier Studies (IFS). Previously, he had worked for various developments, research and academic organizations: IIDS, FORWARD Nepal, Sahamati, Tribhuvan University and HICAST in different capacities, and has accumulated more than 10 years of experience in disaster management, agriculture, livelihoods and education. Currently, he has completed Ph.D. in Economics from the Kochi University of Technology with a major focus on human behaviors for environmental problems, such as sustainability and climate change. His research interests lie in economic, environmental and social issues with the main focus on the human thinking process, associated contexts, and institutions with respect to people's cognition and behavior by using qualitative and quantitative methods, including experiments. Now, he is looking for potential research and development collaborations for IFS. His research papers can be accessed on Google Scholar.
